Welcome to Dr. ChinTickle ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

By using Dr. ChinTickle, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

Email Address: Required for account creation and authentication
Password: Encrypted and stored securely (we never see your actual password)
Google Account Info: If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your name and email from Google

2.2 Workout Data

Pull-up counts: Your max pull-ups and completed workout sets
Workout history: Dates and times of completed workouts
Progress metrics: Cycles completed, current stats, streaks

2.3 Technical Data

Device Information: App version, device type (for bug fixing)
Session Tokens: Stored locally on your device to keep you logged in

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
Calculate your personalized workout plans
Track your progress over time
Send you workout reminders (if you enable them)
Improve the App and fix bugs
Respond to your support requests

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a PostgreSQL database with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Authentication: We use secure authentication protocols (PKCE flow) and never store plain-text passwords.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do NOT sell your data. Period.

Third-Party Services We Use:

Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure (see Supabase Privacy Policy)
Google OAuth: If you choose Google sign-in (see Google Privacy Policy)
Expo: App delivery and updates (see Expo Privacy Policy)

These services have their own privacy policies and handle data according to their terms. We only share the minimum data necessary for the App to function.

6. Your Data Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of your data
Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Correct: Update your profile information
Export: Download your workout history

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

8. Children's Privacy

Dr. ChinTickle is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

9. International Users

Your data may be stored and processed in any country where Supabase operates. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
